The departure as seen from the Shuttle Landing Facility. This perspective is from ~11,000 feet down runway 15, looking East.

Lots of threads on this event today... Very pleased to see the number of people following this important flight.

I can't believe it's actually over... No more shuttle launches! :cry:
I've been watching the Shuttle launches since I was about 6 years old and now they're grounded forever. It's really sad to see them go...
