First maternity shoot

So my niece is expecting her first little one in June. I opened my big mouth and asked if she would mind if I took a try at her maternity photos. She said yes and now I'm kinda freaking lol. I have never done this. Any good suggestions for my first time doing this? I'd like to do some with her outdoors and also some in the basement with a backdrop setup. Any pointers or advice would be great. She knows I'm new to all of this and she is my guinea pig

Do a google search and look for poses and lighting that you like and try similar things. Find a nice big window for natural light, try strobes and modifiers if you have them etc etc.
