Nesting Eagle - midwest Illinois

So I'm driving home and saw a small crowd on the side of the road and 2 Forest Preserve cops. They were pointing across this man made lake,then it hit me about a report of a nesting Bald Eagle....sure enough, about a good block away across the water was a huge nest. There were a few people out with spotting scopes. I'll need a looooong lens. I guess this hasn't happen in a very long time...Cook County Forest Preserve
