Busy year for northern lights. Took a bunch of shots but this one was my favorite.

Thanks everyone! Ya, we see them very often, especially this year with the active sun. They really are worth a trip to see. Pretty spectacular when they are active like the other night.

The lights are so stunning. Well done for capturing them so well.
I wish I could see this just once in my life.

Are those recent photos? We still have 3 1/2 feet of ice on the lakes to the North east of you in Northern Manitoba.

Nice pics, never gets old watching then, eh?

Excellent shots, I really enjoy the reflection on the water. Good job!
I am assuming you're using your Zeiss 21mm? I am soooo jealous of you with that lens. It really takes beautiful pictures.

We have that much ice as well. This one was taken on a river behind my house.

Yes, used the zeiss. The sharpness at f2.8 is insane. I'm contemplating moving to nikon for the d800, but would hate to give up this lens. Although, I have heard the nikon 14-24mm is very very good as well.

The Nikon is probably the sharpest of them all. But I refuse to get an adapter and go out to buy this lens...
