My friends are always wanting me to explain difficult photography concepts to them, because when I understand something, I'm pretty good at reducing it to its simplest terms and explaining it to someone else. However, I recently found THE MASTER at doing this and she runs a large and comprehensive website called "thepioneerwoman.com"
This woman is AMAZING. I can't express to you enough how gifted she is in being able to impart photography knowledge in a simple and very, very fun and entertaining way. RUN, don't walk, to her site and read her blogs/tutorials about everything photography related. I now refer her site anyone who asks me to "teach me photography", because honey, there ain't enough hours in a day, and you ain't payin' me. Her photography section is huge and comprehensive, covering every aspect of photography and really is a blast to read. She has been adding to it since 2007, so there is a LOT of great stuff there.
Trust me now, believe me later. If you are one of those people who are just starting out and need to be spoon fed difficult concepts, this will change your photography life and entertain you at the same time. Now, GO.
