the Flash captures the shot, in this set up i had on my tamron 70-200mm macro, my second goaround at this i used my canon 70200 f4. and got better shots. you really need a flash to do this.

Tube diameters, height of placement, etc? I've Googled one, I get lots of diagrams, but no dimensions. Also how do you accomplish a flow of drops from the Mariotte Siphon? My initial model expels a steady stream of water, not drops. ~Patrick~

octanehammer Member 76 posts Joined Oct 2011 Location: Idaho More info | May 01, 2012 20:07 | #20 Ok..that explains a lot. I used a straw for the vent tube, rather larger diameter than a Windex tube. I did use air line from an aquarium air pump for the exit tube. Which I am guessing wasn't rather ideal. The vent tube is roughly twice the diameter of the exit tube. ~Patrick~
