This little hen has been in our harbour for the last couple of days but has not been very cooperative. She has been very spooky and difficult to get close to. I had to settle for a significant crop but am happy with the results. I hope you are as well.

She's a beauty Harv and held up to the crop well. I wish the Buffle Heads at our lake would come close enough to make such a good crop.

The crop looks good...a species that is tough to get close to...luck is a big factor I think.

Great shot Harv! The Goldeneyes we get around here won't let you get anywhere near them either, they are extremely skittish birds. Well done!

It's a really lovely shot Harvey, the extra water action around the hen adds some character to the picture. Beautifully done :)
