All taken with my 20 years old EF300/2.8L(non-IS)+1.4Tc III+1.4 Kenko pro TC (with effective 600mm) paired with 5d III, handheld. I can see some CA but trying to get the 2X TC III in the hope that it will cut down the CA bit.
Sadly, 5DIII has outperformed my trusty 1D4 at the same set up.

Another great set of these attractive birds Ruhikant, the 5d III is hitting focus very well, what would you say the focus hit rate is for BIF's ?

Thanks Joe, even though 5D III has slower frame rate, the keeper rate is very similar with 1D4(may a bit more in situation like this, since I was never happy with stacked TCs with 1d4).

Great set as always, Ruhikant. Could you show an uncropped capture of one of the above photos?

Thanks Chris,
Sure, as you can see the FF images, these are quite heavily cropped images, but some of them are really sharp at the 100% level.
