Your top 3 "bang for buck" lenses?

I agree, there is no bigger bang for your buck than Canon 50mm 1.8

50 1.4, 18-135, 40 pancake.

After scrolling through this a bit Im surprised I didnt see the 18-35 1.8 in here much.

I concur. Picked it up today from Amazon for $110 and ever since I started using it I have been amazed.

50 f/1.8 or 40 "pancake".

All should serve you very well, giving decent pictures.
Total cost of ALL FOUR lenses is a lot less than £500.

40 f/2.8 is stellar for the price.

Outside of that; 50 f/1.2. It allowed me to sell all my other standard-range lenses and still be confident I can get the shot; as well as ridiculous low light ability and creative capabilities.

• Sigma 35 1.4

Still 40mm stm, Best street lens on 6D, from dawn 'til dark.
24L II, wide angle, wide open. Low light monster even stopped down to f2.0 when paired with the 6D's noise performance.
100L, it opened up a whole world of handheld macro shots and street candids.
