I'm trying to find a backpack (without a waist belt) that fits the following -

7D w/grip attached to a 70-200 2.8 L, along with 17-55 2.8, 580exII flash, and a smallish prime (50 f/1.4). It would be nice if the bag could also fit my iPad.

The grip seems to be the problem. I have a LowePro Computrekker now, but it isn't deep enough to provide adequate protection for the body with the grip.

Any recommendations?

Thanks for your help!

Have a look at the ThinkTank StreetWalker HardDrive:

I have several TT bags and the quality is top-notch.

Lowepro backpacks are awesome and cheap. I'd look into them!

Kata DL-210 will fit all of that and have room up top for lunch.

edit*** Hmmm not sure about the 70-200 attached. It'll be close.

Thanks for the suggestions. For those that use the Streetwalker HD - does it seem too big at times? I looked at that bag at the shop and because of it's shape, it just seems awkwardly large. I guess I'm falling into the "there is no 1 bag that fits all" dilemmas.

Crumpler Sinking Barge Deluxe...if you want even more room, Crumpler Karachi Outpost. I have both and they are amazing bags that will hold what you want and them some (including the iPad or computer).

You got that right! I wish there were a perfect bag, then I wouldn't have six bags sitting around here.
