When used at car shows indoors and outdoors, the Canon 18-200mm image stabilizer lens has always easily handled the job of rendering images with no shortcomings. These images were generated with a Canon 60D, framed through the camera's articulating screen, using Live View. All of the effort in creating these images went into framing the shots. The camera handed everything else.

Depends on how far away your background is. The 18-200 gives nice subject isolation if the background is far away, especially when you're farther away from the subject and zoomed in a bit on it (with the background far away), the 50mm 1.8 really isolate the focus point down very narrow. That 18-200 is such a versatile lens.

18-200 is a really underrated lens, especially at F7.1 or F8.

Use the long end & stand back you can isolate the background 7 compress it forward while cutting out any extras on the sdies..

Check my smugmug out. all my hotrod shots taken with my 18-200...
