A failure on all levels I can't believe this 'photographer' had the dignity to show up!

Are these the worst you've seen? If not show us!

the one with the kid playing with the motorcycle in the background is funny i think. there's a picture of my wife and i lighting unity candles at our wedding and i have my hand over my daughters face trying to keep her from blowing the candles out. she was around 3 at the time, and it's not the photographers fault that grandma gave up controlling the kid at critical moments. the rest of those pictures genuinely suck though.

Besides the photographer not understanding how to use their camera, the composition of most is terrible, some of the angles were way off.. The only decent shot is the one with the kid & motorcycle.. Im sure that could be PS'd out and they would have one keeper

I would have not noticed the kid's hand w/ the motorcycle if it had not been highlighted.
Wow, you guys are picky. Guy just trying to make a living. ;p

Well this is exactly why i would not shoot a wedding. It's ok to make a living but not at the expense of someones wedding memories.

Those aren't even close to being the worst wedding photographs I've ever seen...

Worse? Far from...entertaining but not enough to even be considered the worse.

Couple of shockers in there but far from the worst I've seen.

Wow, those are bad. If not for the fact that I've never been to England I would have to check my files to see if these were pictures I took. ;)

A couple of those could have been saved using decent PP. I could save three of them. The pic with the boy's head could easily be cropped out, and the motorcycle shot could be fixed (along with their red faces....the windows are blown out).

The cake-cutting photo could be fixed a bit. The rest are throw-aways. Bummer

People at work tell me, "Mike, you should start a business doing this. You're good."

Obviously they haven't spent anytime on this site to find out what good really is.

I wouldn't ever shoot a wedding until I had built up (through second shooting) a consistent ability to get excellent shots....not good shots....excellent shots.

I told the people at work, "I'm at least a couple years until I can consistently get the right shots."

The truth is, it will probably take more than that.

Did the couple check the dude's work ahead of time?

Thank you. bw!

I bet you for a dollar, even experienced photographers have taken those kind of shots, it's just the matter not showing them to the clients :).

I agree with DarthVader.

on a wedding assignment, i probably have some frames that were out of focus, captured not on the right moment, silly composition, etc..

but i will not give that photos to my clients.
