Backflip! On a Skimboard.

I caught this during what was supposed to be a skim competition, but only 5-6 guys showed, so it ended up just being another fun day skimming Lido Beach, FL.

Nice shot. It's called a Widdly Flip. It's kind of a showboat move, that skimmers don't really give much props too. As a photographer I wish aerials were more popular, but in competition you have to keep your feet on the board when you land to score points.
