Cool shot BE, is that reddish coloration in the sand natural? Did you feed it that caterpillar?

Excellent action shot, fine detail. Suprisingly deep DOF. Wouldnt have thought even f16 would have achieved that. Must be that 300mm.

right down to the dried piece of 'grass'
it's got everything

the surroundings the spider took to pose in (for you) is perfect
