Canon however i'm very dissapoint.

WU-1A WiFi dongle will let you beam your photos straight to your Android smartphone or tablet, and later in the year to your iOS device too.

also allowing you to use your Android device as a remote viewer and shutter release

I guess you use Eye-Fi but that requires crappy adapters for cameras that use CF cards. :(

How much do they want for the WiFi dongle? Because $29.99 will get you the Apple Camera Connection Kit thatll let you transfer your photos (even RAW) to your iPad via USB or an SD card and it works very well.

Probably far more than 30 bucks.

I like the camera connection kit, but it's pretty much for when you're already done shooting. The Noink wifi dongle will allow you to use your droid powered device as a remote trigger, and apparently, as a wireless form of tethered shooting.

I guess it's cool if you shoot tethered on a tripod a lot. For everyday run and gun, I think it would be a major annoyance, sticking out of the camera.

Could have omitted the bolded, imo. It works, but I find it slow and cumbersome. A true wireless solution, better than what we have available vis a vis the finicky Eye-Fi SD card, and also affordable, would be very welcome.

I havent found it to be too slow, but then I only use it to move a dozen pics at most at a time. However I cant imagine a wireless setup being any faster.

Transferring while you are working vs. stopping at the end to transfer all the files at once feels like a net slower experience. Having to transfer the images to view them is cumbersome anyway. Anything that puts that process in the background is okay by me.
