I feel like this is either interesting, or completely left-field.

Is the PP too much? Does the weird focus lessen the quality? I know this isn't brilliant stuff here, but I'm curious for future photos and editing.

I like the PP in this and the texture of the metal squares.

I don't like the perspective in that the lines of the vertical squares are running from bottom left to top right at an angle and I think I would prefer it if there run straight from top to bottom (In other words I think you should have moved left a bit).

I don't like the word 'Storm' being slightly out of focus and I think it would look better if it was either entirely within the focus plane of more out of focus, as at the moment it looks a bit like you just missed focus.

I think it would be a better shot if you had used a polarizer to remove the reflections and glare from the top right of the water on the image.

Thank you! I wasn't planning on actually doing anything with this shot, so I didn't bother to reshoot so STORM was in focus. I agree, I wish it were, too.

Here is the original - it is very boring and a slip of the hand in editing made the rainbow designs, so I went with it.

I actually like the pp.... I agree with Wayne in the focus and the alignment of the shot.

I like your edit too. The only thing I would have done differently is I'd clean the moss off before I took the shot.

I like it. Not too far IMO because it probably wouldn't have been a keeper otherwise. so well done on the creativity or mistakes that led to it

I am often amazed at how much color and light is captured in an image, usually at night but here in the oil also.

Thank you. I agree, too, wish I would've taken an extra few seconds to correct that now!

I didn't even SEE the moss until you just said it. Oh my! Haha. Thank you.

I like the pp, i like that it is not lined up and square, i would leave the moss there as well. I do agree that the word "storm" should have been the focal point.

It might not be brilliant stuff, but it was a great shot to share with us. Thanks

Forgive my ignorance, new around here. By PP do you mean post production or did you urinate on the storm drain to get the color effect?

A little of both! Hah, just kidding - there'd be a problem if I urinated rainbows.

Post Processing :)

Thanks for the clarification, but rainbows? Now that would be intersting...
