Tempting indeed but I'm sticking with my 7D. Thanks for the heads up.

7D and 5DII are a great combination. Love my 7D for sports and 5D for weddings.

Bought from them before without any issues. Can't always rely on resellerratings as I've dealt with sierratradingpost.com for years now without any issues yet they receive terrible ratings. I think sometimes the internet is a soapbox for negativity.

They've done both kits and body only sales on various days for months and no one has complained about warranty. I bought a kit earlier in the year on one of these deals and it came with U.S. warranty cards. They're an authorized Canon dealer.

Where is your source for this statement? Have you dealt with Beach Camera before? Hundreds, if not thousands of us here on POTN have without issue. Heck, when I first got into photography I bought a Canon 30D, 24-105, and a 50 1.4 from them with no issue whatsoever.

Beach Camera is a reputable company.

uhm no.

i got the 5d from them 3 weeks ago when they did the sale for 1800..camera came a week later.

i ended up returning it though because some other expenses came up that i couldn't justify keeping the camera at this time.

returning process was also very easy.
