I was driving home Saturday evening and saw a Crop Duster spraying some wheat fields. So, I grabbed my camera and started shooting. The pilot was flying an Air Tractor AT-602.

I used a 7D with an EF 70-200mm f/4L non-IS. Early shots were using Aperture priority wide open. Later pictures I remembered to slow down the shutter to blur the prop. For that I used Shutter priority at 1/125th.

The interesting patterns of the spray saves the deadstick #1 photo in my opinion.

Without prop blur I don't think #2 is a keeper.

Thanks.

Yeah, I kicked myself when I realized I had the shutter way too fast to blur the prop.

Except for that, these are pretty nice.
