Not far from the Gem of the Southern Mines. I know the area very well. I was just doing some work in Sonora last month. I love that area!

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Me too! Well... I know, because the work I did last month was in the cemetery next door to the county jail.

Somehow I suspect your experience might have been a little different... Dare I ask?

A client of ours was given a free, all-expenses-paid vacation there for trying to collect a debt at gunpoint. Turns out they take a dim view of that sort of thing in Sonora.

We were in the middle of selling his house for him, and I actually talked the local judge into letting him out on his own recognizance to help his family with the move.

I wish I had a copy of the letter I wrote. It must have been a beaut.

Its not to bad, at least their is no humidity like in the midwest. The humidity kills you.

The hottest I ever saw in the Bay Area while we lived there was 108 in Los Gatos. Were we are now, 108 is a comfortable summer day, and just happens to be the forecast for this coming weekend. I've seen 127 a couple times here, and from June until October, we won't see any days under 100.
