I received an email for preorder of CS6 from BH this morning.

http://www.bhphotovideo.com …shop_CS6_for_Windows.html (external link)

Update - $199

New - $699

I am curious - will this be like LR4, full of bugs, or is this ready for shipment????

just a few of my thoughts...

LR4 hasn't had any bugs for me, I downloaded it the day is was available and I've already edited between 2 and 4 pictures with it. It's been great!

B&H is selling the Photoshop CS5 upgrade for Mac right now @ $149.95.

http://www.bhphotovideo.com …ade&N=0&InitialSearch=yes (external link)

It's the best deal I've found, and upgradeable to CS6.

Lou

I bought the Photoshop CS5 upgrade for Mac from B&H on 3/28/12, which makes me eligible for the free upgrade. I made my request to Adobe this morning after receiving my announcement email.

B&H still is offering the Mac Upgrade at the $150 price, and if bought before 5/6/12, the CS6 upgrade offer would apply.

I don't see the Mac upgrade for $150 at B&H?

Sorry. I have owned CS5 for a long time. I thought you meant there was an offer of $150 for previous CS5 owners. Gotta be a deal somewhere. My LR4 trial is over in 5 days. I'm using LR4.1 RC. I wonder how that will effect me?

Members of NAPP can usually get 15% off Adobe products.

I tried that yesterday and it didn't apply! I guess the discount code is old?

Did you click the link on the NAPP site or just try the code?

Others have had the same issue.
I'd give their customer service a call and straighten it out.

I've been using the beta version of CS6 for several months now and quite honestly this is probably one of Adobe's best releases that I have seen. It all depends on what you call a bug. Some people seem to think that if something doesn't work the way they think it should they call it a bug, if something is missing, they call it a bug.

I'm sure that this is more of a rant statement from the OP as the answer to this question certainly isn't going to come from this forum. Plenty of knowledgeable opinions yes, but the only people that can answer this is to ask Adobe. Of course the other option is to simply download the program from Adobe labs and give it a go for yourself.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I used the link on the NAPP site right under the discount code and got the 15% off on the Adobe site.

I got my free upgrade upgrade email late last night. It indicated the upgrade was on My Orders page, and it wasn't. However, the email contained my SN. I found and downloaded the trial version here:

http://www.adobe.com …uct=photoshop&PID=3146232 (external link)

I then used the SN provided in the email, and I'm up and running.

Don't know why they couldn't have given the correct instructions in the first place, but all is now well:eek:
