New Canon 600EX-RT is Sweet! - St. Augustine, FL

I just got back from St. Augustine late last night only to rest one day and head back out there for the Florida's Birding & Photo Fest (http://floridasbirdingandphotofest.com/ (external link)) Great talent gathered in one building.

I received the flash a day before my workshop there. This new flash is very efficient. Excellent control capabilities and the 200mm zoom is so much welcome. No Better Beamer for this one. I will try the gels this coming week.

Hope you like it.

Canon 5D MKIII, Canon 800mm L with 20mm Extension Tube, 600EX set at 200mm and -2. All in Manual mode.

Thanks!

Beautiful shot. I'm thinking about 600ex, it would be nice to not have to use the BB.

With the new flash you can now zoom up to 200mm. However, that's not going to replace the Better Beamer BUT will come handy if you don't have one available at the time. ;)
