Lot's of natural detail in these shots, excellent clarity... looks like his walk paid dividends..... :)

Thanks Fee, the walkway around the pond is elevated, I was just sitting inside my car with my camera and my view is the same level with the walkway. And since I am inside the car the bird completely ignored me :)

Thanks Dave, sun was out but because there are some clouds is not as harsh as direct sunlight, which I think contributed to nicer color of the bg.

I think all blackbirds have a funny gait about them and you captured quite a variety of "gaited" postures in fine fashion. I think the ones where he's heading towards the camera give me the biggest smiles.

Imitating rain to lure worms to the surface. And he was successful! A great sequence of shots, Jo. These birds seem to have the same kind of character as Crows. At least when I see you guys post shots of them I always think how much they look like Crows. :)
