I want to congratulate the individual who first discovered this remarkable effect and photographed it. Very good, very powerful.

I then want to punch them in the nose for having created a monster of replication. For all that love stands for...please STOP!

Enough already!

The really hilarious thing (perhaps not so much) is that if I did it for one of my clients they'd probably be blown away by it. For me the shot has become in the same category as selective color shots--shots that I avoid unless ordered to make happen.

That's the thing.....as photographers, we see it done over and over. On the other hand, it still keeps impressing the vast majority of clients because they aren't seeing on a daily basis (and many have never seen it) in their world.....therefore I don't expect it to go away any time soon.

+1 We see lots of pics. Brides just have one wedding. Sure its as sticky sweet as coke syrup, but If I didnt have a better option I would use it again if I needed to.

Okay, (Gag!) it might be okay for wedding albums (Hak!), but to be putting these images (choke!) in photo contests and "Look what I did" posts...(BARF!)

I don't even know what it is.

I'm guessing I'm happy about that...
