35mph winds and 42 degrees didn't stop my youngest from the game. These were all shot with a new Sigma 70-200 f2.8 OS that I received the day before. I am still figuring out this glass but I think I'm happy with it after a first outing. Not necessarily happy with my work but its been a long time and I am learning that its not exactly like riding a bike after you've been away from sports for a bit (even with the little ones)...

Exif is all in place for those that care.

1. still learning the kids names, let's call this guy Tim...

2. my youngest seems to think he's a cross between Lionel Messi and Michael Jordan

3. first of three goals for him in a 5-4 win...

Gotta love that face in #4.

I actually showed him that shot at home later Phil. Not so much for the face (which is one of many "interesting one's he comes up with) but because he's dribbling with his head up and eyes downfield. If he can master that as a 4 year old and wants to stick with the game, it should serve him well. Time will tell I guess.

Scott,
Nice set of images. I agree on the facial expression on image #4. It's good to see you are still getting out to shoot.

Thanks Mark. I do miss it but I'm probably enjoying shooting my kids more than I ever enjoyed shooting when it was for income.

All look good Scott and it looks like the Siggy is performing well. It has been hit and miss for me with Sigma but currently love my 15mm.

same here Danny. My 24-60 was pretty good, didn't like the 24-70 or 120-300 though. The 15mm, that's another story. I think its better than the Canon FE. So far, so good on the 70-200 but I'm shooting some HS LAX tomorrow late day so we'll see how it does with bigger, faster kids in fading light...thanks for having a look bud,

@irishtn...thanks, he always produces!
