I have been using ACR v5.7 (hosted by Abode Bridge CS4) for several year without a problem. For the first time, I imported RAW images from my new Canon 60D into Bridge. However, once they are imported, there are no thumbnails in the Content panel of Bridge. Instead there are blank "white paper" icons. The metadata is there; just no thumbnails. I might add that this problem appears to be only with RAW images; not JPEGs.

However, when I checked in my home folder (I am a Mac guy running OS X10.7), the imported thumbnails are right where they should be.

Is there a compatibility issue between Adobe Bridge CS4 & the Canon 60D? Does the Camera Raw plug-in for CS4 not support the 60D?

Thank you for any help.

Support for the 60D was not added until ACR6.2 which is not compatible with CS4. You can convert to DNG and then use CS4. The free DNG converter for the Mac can be downloaded here - http://www.adobe.com …ads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4802 (external link) . Read the directions and the Read Me file.

Also, you can use DPP that came with your 60D.

Dennis, thank you for confirming my suspicions. In the past, I never had reason to convert my proprietary RAW images to DNG; now I do -- well, at least as long I want to continue to use ACR 5.7.

I'll take the time to familiarize myself with the DNG Converter & see if this is the best option for me.

Thank you again.
