Hey guys,
Shot an engagement session down at UC campus and figured i'd share some of my favorites. Since we had two shooters I tried to practice just shooting primes. I switched around the 50mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.8 on my 5d II and 1d IV with 1 OCF mainly for kicker. Here were some of my favorites, just thought i'd share!

PS ; directly after seeing all the "keepers" and "slightly out of focus" shots I came home and did micro adjust on both cameras...they were a little off, but man, when you nail the focus, they are sharp!! c&c welcome.

This campus looked super familiar, then I realized we go to the same school. Haha.

I like 1, 3, and 6. Very nice with the campus.

#1 Second best shot overall, no real weaknesses IMO...
#2 Hands, other skin much brighter while faces much darker. Post brush modify exposure.
#3 Best overall in the set, provided that is her natural smile/laugh. More green cast than others.
#4 Why blast his face and leave her eyes in complete darkness? Who takes priority...girl or guy?
#5 Hands interact with railing silhouette, image is slightly tilted...
#6 How is this flattering to either one's face?
#7 Corpse couple, his double chin...
#8 Does bother my eyes too...

T-shirt, shorts, and flip flops? I knew engagement shoots are supposed to be comfortable, but he should have at least worn something a little nicer. That said, you got some nice shots.

Nice shots. I agree on the attire of the groom to be as a little too casual.

Also, what did you do to micro adjust your lenses? I have looked and there are about a million different ways to do this and I would like something simple and easy to follow.
