The card with the files stands safe in the camera body or in the reader (being dumped). The last thing I want to do in the field is change cards and run the risk of losing one. So far, I have not exceeded a 32GB card in one day of shooting.

Buy two and run redundant if youre worried about it! [Gear List | Flickr

Apr 26, 2012 16:01 | #8 Are you going to fill a 16GB card in a day? If yes, then get a 32 GB card. CF card failure is extremely rare for decent quality cards. Losing a CF card that isn't in the camera is a lot more common. Frank Hollis - Retired mass spectroscopist
