Perhaps, but the Amazon rankings (as I understand what they are) are NOT total over a long run, but rather a snapshot of the short run - a running total over the last day, week, month, something like that. IOW, what is the ranking NOW. What I've not seen anywhere is a definition of the time frame being used. It might be there somewhere, but I haven't seen it.

I am aware, hence why I said nothing about their rankings. Those are more or less what's popular now/recently.
