If it makes you feel better, when I sat for the CPA exam, I missed passing all 4 parts on the first try by a combined total of 3 points. Those 3 points cost me $400 in fees to retake 2 parts.

As I turned up for the original exam to find no invigilator, stood in the rain for an hour before they admitted it wasn't happening, only to have it rearranged 5 days later, by which time the info had dissapeared from my head i'm going to complain and see if they will waive the one mark. Worth a try at £115 a pop.
