I thought this was a nice pose of a male snail kite, un-banded, with their favorite meal, in a nice environmental area.

Hard pressed to find a better planned composition in a studio Jason... what a great setting with the complimentary BG and the dead leaves matching the kites legs, talons, eyes, etc... beautiful.

Thank you Steve! I was quite excited when I saw him, and the fact he had a snail, and no bands made me very thrilled! Yes this was on Toho last October.

Thanks Dave :) I love environmental shots much more so than a bird on a stick. I like see the animal in their native surroundings. I have always really liked this, but didnt figure many others would.
