I had spent the better part of a day shooting around Lake Sabrina. When I got back to my car, turned it around, this is what I was presented with. Now, I have been up there plenty of times, but never payed attention to this area. I guess I'll be paying more attention in the future. Comments always appreciated and respected. Al

Great shot. I really like the color of the late day sun hitting the mountain.

Angled bands of warm color and horizontal bands of blue and white. Very interesting.

Nice Al, better than my shot from October. What day was this? I was in Alabama Hills on Wednesday and DV on Thursday.

Dave, thanks for the comments. It was actually taken five years ago on August 27, 2007.

Great Picture! I absolutly love lake Sabrina for trout fishing with the kids in the fall. the seasons are very distinct over there and the water is the clearest i have ever seen in California. also for anyone wanting to travel up there you have to go to Erik Shatts bakery on main street in bishop they have some awesome treats and freshly made breads that are to good to pass up. also there are two nearby lakes up there that are just as nice as lake Sabrina.
