Bay Photo Metal Print - Quick Review

I use them when I need metal prints larger than Bay Photo's 60" maximum width. ImageWizards can go up to 96" - good for a 32"x96" panorama! And they have most of the same options as Bay Photo, too.

Cost was great! Compared to the fotoflots I have gotten they are about half as pricey I'd say. The shipping was amazingly fast.

I'd love to get a 96" panorama, but I wouldn't even want to think what it would cost to ship to Canada.

P.S. Price paid to ship to Canada was $10 including customs and duties through UPS. Needless to say I'm happy.

Jay, is not cheap. Even at cost, at least from my own gallery on Smugmug (Bay Photo Lab), 24x16 metal print is about $80.

I think $80 for a print on metal ready to hang is pretty reasonable. I guess I look at the cost of printing myself, mounting onto a substrate for framing, matting, frame, glass etc. = Way more than that!

This is obviously very different than a framed photo, but I prefer the look, especially the clusters.

I too have had wonderful service and print quality from Bay Photo.

Not having to frame REALLY reduces the cost Well summarized.

Beautiful images, and thanks for sharing this. Your experience was quite reassuring, I've been in communication with them a few times but was hesitating to put in an order (my shipping costs are probably even higher than yours).
