Import the photos, add music, define the fades between photos, pan and scan, burn to CD/DVD. Plus you have actual video editing capability as well. I use Sony Vegas but I'm sure Premiere can do the same thing, the free video editing software included with Macs and Windows might also do it.

Not quite sure, but I think XnView has a option to save the slideshow as a movie. Check it out, it's freeware.
