Okay, the day before my pelican shots, I took some egret shots. These are not quite as low angle, because of the river bank in the background, and I wanted all blue. Next time I will try for a different angle, when the sun eventually comes back, and hopefully get lucky like I did with the pelicans.

Both are very nice Tina! I Really am partial to # 2. I guess because of the contortion and the wing and the feathers. :) Nice work.

Both are beautiful shots Tina, great job in capturing the meticulous preening of the egret in #1, down to the last feather :)
