Anyone using a CF card adapter for SH(HC)?

Is anyone using such an adapter like this in their DSLR?:

Is there any speed difference because of the "adapter" sitting inbetween the chain between de SDHC card and the camera?

My reason for asking is of course the huge price difference between a CF card Sandisk 32Gb Extreme pro and it's SDHC equivalent.
Over here the prices are 185 and 80 euro so the above solution would pay off IF there is no technical disadvantage I am not aware of?

I'm using this for both my 7D and 5D2 originally for the Eye Fi SD Card but since that doesn't work well at least not for me I used it for SD Cards instead because like you said it is cheaper to buy a SD Card than a CF Card even though its the same gb.

I haven't had any problems with transferring my images to my computer it is actually quite convenient since my laptop doesn't have a CF Card reader so I can take the SD card and shoot that into my laptop.
