Beautiful shot/
Sp clear that, if you zoom in real close, you can see that sattelite dish that the locals put up there . . .

We are planning a trip up as soon as the holidays are over..... I hope there is fresh snow:)

keep an eye on these webcams (external link), seems to be plenty of snow on the high ground but none on the valley floor yet. I should be heading up myself in late dec early jan.

Duder I check those cams every day. I think we all should "Think Snow" for Yosemite.

Nice shot! I would get rid of the junk along the bottom of the picture. Were the trees angled like that naturally, or am I seeing the effect of a wide angle lens? If it's the lens, you might want to experiment with aligning the vertical in Photoshop to see how it would look.
