Funny, the reason I have these two is that I was setting up the camera as I went towards the water. I had just got the camera settings saved when the bird jumped up from right in front of me, flying away. I pulled the camera up and mashed down the release, but the lens had to acquire focus before it would fire. I got two snaps before he went behind the trees. Total accident, but I'll take what I can get! :)
