My first year of photography!

Two year update bellow all ...quick link here

Well it's been almost a year since I first got my Canon G12... now using a 600D with 17-55 f/2.8 and a slightly emptier pocket after it all but what are hobbies for hey!?

Was looking at my flickr and realised I'd taken an almost identical photo nearly 1 year apart. A good comparison and mile marker to show how far I've come in a year.

Comments welcome, doubt I'll ever put the camera down again, so many more milestones to come!

I'd say the second one was early. The first has a lot more pop and better exposure and obviously shows more detail and planning and processing skill.

Love the composition of the first which is obviously the newer one. As they say less is more!

I think it's great that you got the shot of that building just as it was falling down. I hope nobody was hurt. The older one could be improved by adjusting levels. Cutting off part of the left side was not a good idea in my opinion.

Nice shot. Yep the first one with your name on it is the year after shot.

That's a good idea to re-visit shots you took and see how you can improve them. A before and after.

Looking back through my work I've found two photos now two years apart. Still my love for photography remains

Love it, had it nearly two years now so she's got a little slack. Still crystal clear optics, light speed focusing and pin prick sharp images. The colours through it are amazing, they are comparable to my 100L f/2.8 almost.
