He is really not mine but you do get emotionally attached when you spend a lot of time with these birds...A shot ftom 4 months ago and I could not fit him into the shot so took off 20% for composition. I know it looks a bit like a captive bird shot but its not. This very wild juvenile liked to hunt along a busy stretch of road from telephone wires , trees, and in this case from a chain link fence. He caught several voles when I was visiting and photographing him over a period of several days.....

Very nice shots. They are super close. Juvy RTH's are very nice this way. I see one sitting on a light post over the freeway all the time by my house but I cant get close enough to him.
