I've looked in the Audubon book and these guys all look about the same to me.

Based on previous encounters in the same area I'm thinking Greater Yellow Leg.

Great under-wing looks, don't see that often in photos, nice work! To me, looks more like a Solitary Sandpiper than a G.L.

Great shots, Dave. I too think this is a Solitary Sandpiper.

Chuck

To OP: do you have an approximate size? Robin-size vs crow-size?

It was his size that was confusing. He was smaller than this one - https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=927790 . The one in this thread was perhaps the size of a large robin.

I do have a couple more angles:

If it was the size of a large robin then I agree with the previous responders who were identifying it as a Solitary Sandpiper.

Thanks Diane (and everyone else). The bill on this one appears to be shorter than the Yellowlegs.

I'll tag him as a Solitary Sandpiper.

I would think in mid-spring the would be no more juveniles. ;)
Sorry if I made it sound like I was guessing in my earlier post. It is a Solitary Sandpiper.
