Dang.. and I was trying to sell mine for something decent, but this is getting really low for the camera.

The 7D has been available via the CLP for $1087+tax for at least a year or more. True that they are refurbished but they do come with a 90 day warranty so unless someone's camera has more than 90 days warranty remaining that should be the standard for pricing.

That's nice for a new 7D. But I don't need another 7D.

Too bad they (or anyone else) don't do something like Beach does with the 5D2 + 24-105 kit. $2450 at Beach on eBay. Everyone else is around $2999 for the kit or 2200 for the body only.

Jim, you might want to check out the Canon Loyalty Program where a 5D2 is $1407+tax. When they're in stock, at least.

I got my second 7D from the CLP but I only wanted a body then. Now I would like the 5D2 + 24-104 kit. The game would be trying to find the body and lens in stock at the same time. So far they are not offering kits of the 5D2, only some kits on other cameras. I'll have to do the paperwork on prices.
