American Pro Surfing Series

The APSS kicked off this morning in Huntington Beach, Ca with top local Pro-Am surfers competing. Surf were up to 5-6ft at times, sunny yet windy and very hazy condition throughout the morning shoot. Met up with fellow POTN Kirish (Kevin) a pretty cool guy and we had fun covering this event. A lot photogs came out as well which I'll post under the "show me your photographers" thread.

Great shots, both threads! I surfed until dark this evening at uppers and a lot of the guys are already here surfing uppers and lowers for the Nike contest. Going to be another great event. Hopefully I'll make it down for a couple days (I live right next to it, no excuses).
