Might take an extra day or two while I'm there. Saguaro was one of my thoughts. There are lots of great places. Ian - http://www.icassell.smugmug.com

May 01, 2012 14:07 | #12 The Riparian is a wonderful place for birds. Most of my bird pix are from there. You'll probably want at least a 400mm (I use the Canon 400/5.6), but you'll wish you had more. Ian - http://www.icassell.smugmug.com

May 01, 2012 14:52 | #14 Rick, are you using the Canon 2X extender? Since I know that no 500/4 is in my future, I've been looking at 300's with 2X. Looking at the Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 OS and the Canon 300/2.8. The Sigma is so much cheaper, but leaning toward a used Canon (which I should be able to afford before I die). I know that I'll never be able to afford the MkII version. Ian - http://www.icassell.smugmug.com
