Hey All!

We had a meetup today! The Portland Saturday Market is in downtown Portland and also close to the Portland Waterfront, and is a great place for Street/Urban photography, so that's where we met, at the Skidmore Fountain, a nice gathering place for urban characters, performers, and photographers!

So this is a thread where those of us who were there can post shots! I've just begun going through over 700 shots!

nice, wish i'd been able to make it down there. unfortunately, i was conned into a 50+ mile bike with some crazy Dr's in town, all of them 25 years younger than me. next time i'll do this...looks like more fun.

One of the fun things about Street "Candid photography -- you "capture" "characters", such is the folks panhandling with the "Fishing for Beer Money" sign and the guitar player in the background, but you can catch "moments" of personality and interaction:
