And then I got a couple shots of this "pair":

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/tonylong/image/143141247/original.jpg

I played with a couple close "portrait" crops of the little fellow:

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/tonylong/image/143141250/original.jpg

Very nearby were this couple performing. I decided to work with both these shots because of the cool changes in her facial expression!:

Finally I get to our "half-way" point, our arrival at the Portland Waterfront!

First was this fountain, a place where people come to hang out and play:

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/tonylong/image/143152354/original.jpg

And then we came upon this guy, a "regular" going back some years:

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/tonylong/image/143168935/original.jpg

I decided to shoot him at a few angles, and then in post processing decided to make close "portrait" crops, here are a couple:

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/tonylong/image/143168937/original.jpg

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/tonylong/image/143168949/original.jpg

Well, more to come:)!

So c'mon Woos, be honest -- was it the camera gear or your youthful grin and charm:)?

Welcome to the Portland Waterfront, although it's an overcast day!

A "classic" scene over the Willamette River:

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/tonylong/image/143188826/original.jpg

A typical scene:

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/tonylong/image/143188828/original.jpg

A crop!:

Note that they're not dressed for a warm sunny day!

And, at the Waterfront we had musicians!:

I thought a "portrait crop" from that would be nice, "character":
