Yellow Bellied Sapsucker: This little fellow was ultra shy, clinging to the shadows for the most part, but I rarely see them at all so I was happy enough to have managed even these.

Excellent captures Mike......what branches? :)
I love the alert posture in the 1st capture, and I think the blurred branches add authenticity. It's nearly impossible to get these guys into the open for the perfect portrait.

Pretty captures of a entertaining woodpecker.. I have seen a pair almost everyday in the woods, but can't pull off a decent shot.....
