I just upgraded to 24-105 f/4 L lens and cannot wait for it to arrive.

I am interested in seeing your results of this lens with 7D. Please share your photos. Thanks.

Would like to see more.

I don't have any more good ones (as I've only had the 7D a couple of weeks). Here's more taken with the 24-105, but on a 550D (same sensor):

Just buy the damn lens, it's a great piece of glass. Ain't nuttin' you're gonna see on a web image that's enough to make a decision based on IQ.

He already bought it....I'm guessing he's just anxious to see what he can expect from his first L lens.

Here are some outdoor portraits made with the 7D 24-105mm combo, and an indoor shot with some special processing, and a panorama of the same indoor event.

I have already paid for it to a fine POTN member and am awaiting delivery. I just cannot wait for it. In the meantime, I am salivating over all the photos on this thread!

I think you will really enjoy it, it is quite versatile.

I'd be interested in seeing some comparisons with your 28-135. I have been considering upgrading. So far, I have been happy with the 28-135, but not blown away by any means.

You are going to love this lens. Some folks feel it is even better than the 24-70L.
Personally, i think the IS on it makes it the perfect walk around lens.
It will be there before you know it.

Enjoy it.

Yes, it was shot handheld, but like you would do a landscape panorama with overlapping shots and then put together in photoshop. Then I applied some color actions to give it somewhat the look of Technicolor film of the 1950s.
