I know there is another thread for this but it looks like they reduced the price to $1199 so decided to start a new thread for those who may have already read the original thread. Don't forget 3% Mr rebates cash back.

$1199 deal is dead but now there is a bundle for $1278:

Great deal considering current prices elsewhere!

I wonder how long they are going to go like that. when you just go search there site they show full price. but that link still has $1199 and you can add to cart like that.

I'm pretty sure they will adjust the price if you give them a call (assuming you bought it from Adorama)

With all the retailers unloading their 7D's, hopefully this means a new 7D MKII is coming out soon. The pricing we are seeing now is mirroring what we saw for 5D MKII's a few months ago before the 5D MKIII was officially released.

Good things come to those who wait. ;)

That is kinda what I was wondering, either that or all the 7d2 hopefuls grabbed up on the 5d3. I think for $1200 I will just have to get a 7d for now. I can imagine if the 7d2 comes out it will have less than a 2k price tag. It has taken enough to get my wife somewhat ok with upgrading to the 7d. I tried her on the 5d3 or 1d4 first and negotiated back down to here so it still worked...

IMO, when the 7D MKII or whatever they decide to call it comes out, the pricetag on a 7D "classic" :p will drop to around $800-900 bucks.

That was the price range the 5Dc was in a year ago when the 5D MKII was still king.

Oh I am sure there will be a big price drop, but from what rumors are floating it won't announced until fall, so it would be like christmas time before there released, I don't think I want to wait a year, plus then my 40D will be worth almost nothing by then too. damn technology....

Too bad the Adorama $1199 price does not double dip with the current Canon lens rebate....

But you do get a $400 rebate if you buy the 7D w/ pixma Pro 9000 Mk II. I've seen people selling the printers for $200, so you could get effectively a $175 rebate on your 7D.

Looks like the price is $1519 now. Same thing with the Canon 70-300 L lens above. Price is higher now. Are these early bird special or something?
