Heavy rain in the UK and Otters

We are experiencing heavy rain in the UK at the moment and where I live, in Dorset many rivers are bursting their banks.

I was wondering if this will have any bearing on Otter behaviour.

In Blandford, not too far from me, Otters have been spotted in and around the River Stour and I was just thinking will the flooding make them go into hiding, make them come out more or simply have none or little effect.

sure. i would expect the otters to move out of the flooding rivers, start walking erect and hanging around coffee shops. be careful, in groups they can be testy.

Interesting, do you think they might start visiting pubs and getting drunk and firey too
