Wow, used 2x's go for $200 now? Almost as cheap as a new Kenko.

I bought my 1.4x II and 2x II for $200 each on FM more than a year ago. Prices fluctuate from $200-$225.

No, my analogy is accurate. A rotten tuna sandwich will still provide sustenance and keep you alive. If it's not too rotten, you won't get sick--minor bellyache, and the taste will be off.

Not everyone here is a car person--and those models are completely localized to this region. Not everyone can relate to that example. Everyone understands food--tunafish, PB&J, and Roast Beef are available most anywhere in the world. I win.

Taste off + bellyache = vomiting, diarrhea, != sustenance.

If you aren't a car person, GTFO!

It was a typical Cav ass kicking in the last KM. :p

There was a wreck on the last turn though, but he was ahead of it.

Excellent!!! Im looking forward to watching it later :D

Really? Heard he landed on his bad shoulder due to the pile up in the last sprint

Final Sprint here:

Androni-Venezuela manager Gianni Savio is apparently flying in to apologize to Mark personally and to the event for his rider, Roberto Ferrari, for what sounds like an idiot move which caused the 60kph pile-up in the final moments of the race.

i just had cereal with sour milk....

There is something wrong with you if you actually ate it, milk smells sour when it goes bad, you never need to actually eat it.

The Kenko MC4 (which I heard is actually better than the Kenko Pro) is about $130 on eBay. The Pro300 is about $180 on eBay. I guess if you want weather sealing, go with the Canon. Otherwise, I have been pretty happy with my Kenko.

There are MC4's, MC7's, Pro300 DG, and Pro 300 DGx models. You have to be very careful with the pro300's, and get the DG or DGx models with the most recent stickers, otherwise they may not be compatible with fairly recent lenses.

MC4 has the least elements inside, and does NOT have multiple coatings. That means more flaring, CAs, etc. MC7 is slightly improved and has more elements (reducing sharpeness) and better coatings. Pro300's have the most elements, and the best coatings--and will provide the best overall performance.

Says you. As a growing boy, I had my share of run-ins with bad tunafish. Sounds to me like you were eating food straight out of a dumpster--that or you had a weak constitution. You shouldn't be getting violently ill from slightly tainted or expired food

I was just talking about the MC4 and Pro300 DGX versions. I thought we agreed not to discuss legacy products as per your request? :p

I have seen tests showing the MC4 was actually sharper. Don't remember if those tests addressed flare. I don't remember where the tests were but they were on some Russian site I think. Silverfox might have em in his sig somewhere. He was the one who posted them.

Don't talk to me about constitution, that is the last word I want to hear today. (constitutional law final today, possible my worst subject)

EDIT: On a side note, I can't remember the last time I had a tuna fish sandwich. My sandwich of choice tends to be pastrami :p

Soy milk ain't milk. I hate it when people call it milk.

Milk is a white liquid produced by the mammary glands of mammals.

Milk comes from boobs, soy "milk" is ground up soy beans. I prefer to call it "soy juice" because that is what it is.

MC7's and pro300 DGs aren't legacy models. They're still being sold.

There was a german test that showed the MC4s were the sharpest. They have been tested, and they DO introduce more flaring. I know for a fact, because I own 1.4x and 2x MC4s, and I used to own the pro300s.
